Murky, ruddy deep red-brown body, thin cream head. Aroma sharp and intense, with huge prune, barrel, vanilla, alcohol, tobacco, caramel, and toffee notes. Body thick with caramel, candied fruits/fruit leather, coconut, grape, berries, and green apple, all kept in line with firm carbonation and boozy heat. I hadn't been blown away with a new beer in a long, long time. Immaculate.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit, vanilla, wood, bourbon. Slick body, wood, licorice, vanilla, boozy, nice sweetness, very good.
