Unser sehr harmonisch abgeschmecktes und würzig-malziges Jubiläumsdunkel leuchtet in einer wunderschönen Mischung aus nachtdunklen Tönen, gepaart mit einem dunklen Kastanienbraun.
Dieses sehr süffige und milde Bier überzeugt durch seine Vollmundigkeit und seine angenehme, nicht zu intensive Süße.
Dezente Röstaromen runden jeden einzelnen Schluck ab.

Bottle picked up recently from a campsite, consumed at home Tuesday 10th August 2021, it has been a lovely day🌞. Pours chestnut in colour with an off white head. Soft moutheel, plenty of caramel in the mouth, light toffee in the mouth, nice chewiness, solid Dunkel in fact one of the better ones that I have had from this brewery.

Clear ruby with little beige head. Aroma is caramellized nuts toffee pistacchio. Slightly oxidized. Taste has stale nuts and more oxidized/roasty notes. Only medium body. Much carbonation. Nut peel on the tongue. Not so smooth. Still drinkable and ok.

Keine Ahnung, ob es dieses Bier noch gibt. Es ist ein klassisches Dunkles bayrischen Stils. Es ist nicht zu süß und hat angehme Röstaromen vermischt mit malziger Basis. Hopfen dient logischerweise zur Würzung, was hier aber wirklich als eine Art Topping rüberkommt. Ein in sich geschlossenes Bier, das gefällt und nicht überfordert.

50cl bottle. Pours clear light orange brown colour with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of mild roasted malt, caramel, bread. Taste of mild rosted sweet malt, caramel, mild nuts and bread, okay!

500ml bottle [[as Bayerisch Dunkel] Another regional gem kindly catered by Maddie - thank you very much again!]. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and average to huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, some malt spiciness with hints of chicory in homoeopathic dosis, mild hoppy overtones with a waxy grassy touch. Taste is minimally dry dark malty, slightly nuttily, minimally toasty, subtle sweetness with a touch of malt lozenge; soft and creamy palate.

Flasche („Bayerisch Dunkel“, 50 cl) von Fizzz, Regensburg. - Tiefes Kastanienbraun, klar. - Milder Duft nach dunklem Malz, Karamel, zarte Frucht. - Antrunk weich dunkelmalzig mit angenehm milder Karamelsüße und ein wenig Pflaumenkompott, gekonnt abgeschmeckt mit einem Hauch spritziger Säure. Etwas Brotkruste, aber keine kräftigen Röstaromen. Durchschnittlich rezent, etwas dünn im Mund. Im Abgang nur schwache, eher malzige als hopfige Bittere. Klingt ziemlich wäßrig aus. - Nettes Dunkles, mild malzig aber kaum spürbar gehopft, dadurch zum Ende hin allzu dünn.

Schön dunkelbraun-rötlich im Glas. Der Antrunk ist süffig-malzig und schön vollmundig-rund. Zum Hauptteil hin wird das Bier ganz leicht säuerlich, was aber gut zu der schweren, malzigen Grundnote passt. Schöne Malz-Aromen werden im Hauptteil freigesetzt, ganz dezente Kaffee-Note. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhaltend, ganz leicht herb und schön ausgeglichen malzig-süßlich.

bottle. Deep brown colour, mid-sized off-white head. Roasted malts, raisins and caramel in the flavour, as well a s a fruity sourness that doesn’t belong there, I suppose. I think the bottle was infected, thus the sourness. I’ve got to try and get another bottle.
