Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a burnt red almost brown color with a bar pourβs kind of slim white foamy head that slid off into oblivion. No lace.
The aroma had some light milk chocolate, strong nuts - somewhat roasty with some sweetness. Some breadiness.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a delicate roast underneath. Some nuttiness in the aftertaste and finish.
The feel was between light and medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good smoothness. Some carbonation.
Overall, pretty good brown ale worthy of having again.

From tap at Canal Street. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is dark roasted malt. Breadish, slight butterish and toffee caramelish. Bitter and dark roasted malty flavoured finish. Ends dry.
