Jet black with a full creamy head. Aroma of roast caramel malt. Flavour is sweet roast malt, hints of licorice, dry ash, smoky back, soft bittersweet finish.

From tap at De Markies, Leeuwarden. Roasty, chocolate, roasted malt, a little coffee. Moderate to medium bitter, lightly sweet. Decent drinkable Stout.

Hand pumped at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark, almost black, with very fine brown foam. Aroma is a little nutty and coffee. Body is fairly thin, with no carbonation. Taste is delicate roasty. Final is dry.
