Bottle [thanks to bierkoning] @ home. Clear orange golden color, full sized a bit rough off-white head that lasts for a long time. Smell malts, something weird and slightly sourish. Tastes about the same: some malts, a bit sourish, like sourish fruitpeel with a bitter finish. Average body, medium carbonation. Not good.

Draught at Pension Karin, B’güßbach: Light amber coloured, a bit unclear, stable mid-sized off-white foam, herbal to grassy hops with a delicate dark-malty to bready background in the aroma; moderately dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and quite soft; slightly lingering, dryish, hoppy and malty finish. Reasonable franconian quality…

Bottle, 5.0%. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is slightly old-tasting. Not exactly oxidized, but unfresh. Medium bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub. Lightly hazy deep golden, minimal head. Aroma of fresh grass with deep fruity buttery malt underneath. Medium sweet with full blown rounded malt profile. Careful bitter finish. Feels potent, but remains very drinkable.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Dusty, moderately sweet grainy nose with spicy and herbal, nettle-like hops. Sweet flavour with a light bitter level, pretty slim bodied with a medium carbonation. Slightly yeasty, grainy malty taste, quite one-dimensional; slightly sweetish malty and yeasty finish with a light hops character. Pretty disappointing by Franconian standards.
