Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak bready aroma. Sweetish malty grainy weak bready caramel flavor with bitter hints. Has a sweetish malty grainy caramel finish.

Appearance: Golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Fruity aroma with some alcohol.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet and a light bitterness. Moderate carbonation.
Flavor: Mild fruity, caramel malt and some alcohol.
Overall impression: Decent bock. Not too sweet and not too much alcohol coming through.

Der Beginn ist hell malzlastig und zu klebrig geworden. Im Mittelteil ist das Bier kaum stärker, die alkoholisch klebrigen Noten haben sich zurückgeildt, die Herbe ist intensiver. Außerdem ist das Bier deutlich zu trocken. Zum Ende dann noch etwas dukelmalziger, auch hier nicht wirklich intensiv. Trinkbarer Bock ohne Besonderheiten. 9/8/9/9/6/9

Bottle, 2009-05-21, Göteborg - 2009 version! AP:Brown metallic, heavy head AR: F: Fudge, brule pudding, bitterness, nutty, honey, alcohol (covering the spirits to 95% - storing needed?) AF: some caramel, and bitterness! Wonder why all was so negative towards this that were the better one of two to Arboga that were released at the same date!

Bottled (BB 04/2010, Systembolaget).
Deep golden (amber) color, good off-white head. Grassy hoppy and fruity malty aroma with hints of green apple and marzipan, someway alcoholic. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet. Apple dominates the flavor, cardboardish maltyness. Alcohol in the finish. Similar to some East European strong lagers, although sweet fruityness is more pleasant than in the most of them.

Big offwhite head does not last, but leaves coarse lace. Coppery body with carbonation. Malty oily alcoholic aroma with fruity cinnamon notes. Sweet-dryish apple malts taste with toffee and butterscotch notes. Mid-to-full body. Smooth, mild mouthfeel. Dryish dusty apple aftertaste with roasty marzipan notes. Delicate, harmonic, and balanced. I quite like it. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

330ml bottle, thanks to Finn for sharing. Golden body, diminishing foam, fragile lacework. Malt-fruity aroma. Sweet malts and sweet dark fruits in flavour. Shortage of finish. Alcohol all over (evening session at Elsas house in Skibotn, 29.08.2009).

Flaske 0,33l fra Systembolaget i Kiruna. Gylden farge. Høyt kremaktig skum. Aromaen er søt og svakt fruktig. Smaken er bare søtlig. Bitter ettersmak med søtlig avslutning.
