(On tap @ Cinder, Philadelphia, Apr 12/18) Pours a clear medium gold with nearly no head. Notes convey a lot of barrel, apple brandy present in abundance, colouring the semi-sweet apple juice. Augmented by wood, soft vanilla, spicebox, spririt touches. ABV is present but not overemphasized at all. Finish is semi-dry and fairly long with wood, soft tannin, spice, brandy. Medium bodied, oily. A little bit sweeter a base than I'd ideally like, feeding into the brandy but perhaps not hightlighting it as much. Still pretty solid.
