Draught at Plan B as Plan B Classic. Amber colour (surprise surprise), big thick white head. Yeasty and malty nose with notes of orange. The taste is light and more of the same, some yeasty notes some softer than the average macro and a bit tastier.

as Næsgaarden Classic. best before 10.mar.2009 tasted 15.jan.2009. pours a cloudy light amber, white head. fruity and sour aroma. hints of infection i think.. flavor is mainly sour, citrus, some flavors i can’t discern, orange peel bitterness. a little acid. not the first næsgaarden i’ve tasted that was sour instead of what the brewer had intended. braunstein/næsgaarden ought to check up on sanitation.

500ml bottle as Næsgaarden Classic. Thanks to Skinnyviking. Hazy dark golden body. Moderate white head. Mild floral aroma. Honey and citrus in flavour with malts behind. Creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonated. Rather dull (shared with Finn Arvid, Copenhagen 30.05.2008).

Bottle. Very pleasant in appearance, but a little bland on the palate. No overly distinguishing characteristics that made me want another.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm) Pale amber colour with foamy, white head. Malty, slightly buttery nose with dried, fruit, apricots, caramel and toffee. Malty taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, toffee, buttery malt and a dryish, metallic bitterness in the finish. Decent beer, hardly exciting but definitely drinkable.
