Bottled as " Næsgaarden Mørk" Pours mahogany with a large, airy head. Somewhat sour aroma with notes of toffee and chocolate. Thin mouth-feel. Slightly sour flavour with notes of dry cocoa and peat. Bitter finish. If I get the chance I will try to re-rate this one as it seems a bit infected.

Slight fruity flavour with a light bitterness and a medium sweet malt base. Light caramel note and a slowly declining smoke note. Ends medium dry and bitter.

Copper brown color, not much head. Caramelly, some diacetyl in the nose. Caramelly, sweetish brown ale type flavor (although it is lager). Tiny hops in the aftertaste.

500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4%. Beautiful copper colour, large off-white head. Lovely and distinct aroma and flavour of caramel and treacle, also notes of butterscotch. Moderate hops. A very nice and drinkable dunkel.
