Fruity, hoppy aromas at the outset lead to a light bodied beer with plenty of hops.

Gravicask, half-pint, shared with Finn. Deep clear amber body, film-type layer, scattered lacing. Hop fruity aromas, herbal moments with citric support. Quite rich fruity flavours, moments of lemon and orange, flowed by mild leafy hop bitterness to the finish. Rounded mouthfeel, Nice.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours golden brown with a medium sized frothy almost white head and good lacing. The aroma is a mix of malts and bitter hops with a few nuts thrown in for good measure. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy with malts and honey to the fore. Some hoppiness comes through later. This is an enjoyable quality golden bitter – nice !
