Gravicask, half-pint, shared with Finn. Ring of bubbles on the surface of a clear warm golden body, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate hop fruity aromas, orange up front. Citrus taste with orange and lemony impacts. Citrus finish with a bitter twist. Satisfying.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Piours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head and god lacing. Aroma is grains with a hint of citrus. In the mouth it has a creamy texture and there’s a brief initial burst of sweetness before bitter citrus hops kick in.Flavour has oranges and melon with traces of grapefruit. Finish is dry and bitter. This is OK – and thankfully not too citrussy.
