Bottle. Clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma of faint lemons, minerals and soap. Taste of grains, straw, soap, metal, mild lemons and minerals. Low bitterness. Strong carbontion. Lifeless. I’d be mightily surprised if this beer was still around this time next year.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Minimally musty, strawy, grainy, pale malty aroma, hints of silage, horse dung. Taste is grainy, strawy, pale malty and rather plain, bitter hoppy, hints of silage, popcorn; lingering, bitter hoppy finish.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, foamy to creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Obviously focussed on formality: nice appearance, good mouthfeel, in all other respects tasteless, faceless, expressionless - an awkward (and totally belated) jump on the "Helles" bandwagon like their Felsenkeller was in (or rather after) times of the Köstritzer inspired revival of Schwarzbier - crap.
