Copenhagen Beer Festival. Opaque black beer, soft to dry palate. Rich well roasted malt. Sherry and coffee flavours. Perhaps just a tad roasty for me.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Pitch black body with a tiny rust red head. Aroma of sweet, dark malt, roast, coffee and hops. Flavor is complex, sweet and roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, wood and bitter. A wonderful brew with a serious long and warming aftertaste. Great stuff.

Draught@CPH BeerFest2010. Quite much pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some toffee, leather and liquorice. Flavour is quite similar, but the alcohol comes through rather well as a quite stinging note. Otherwise a very pleasant Imperial stout.

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Very black, beige head. Heavily roasty. Dense and heavy bodied. Full flavoured with tobacco and asphalt as well as coffee, grains and licorice. Packed, but non-overpowering imperial stout. Well done!

Black with a large dark beige head. Aroma had loads of burned malt, dark chocolate and espresso. Flavour was moderate sweet and had loads of burned malt, dark bitter chocolate, espresso and warming alchol towrds the end. Rather harsh boozy finish. But a nice one.

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 23-10-09. Pours black with a tan rim of bubbles. This is full on roasty and also very hoppy, the aroma is a little quiet though. Not bad at all good pushy bitterness, soft in the mouth with a nice back up of load of cocoa. A7 A5 F8 P4 Ov16 4.0
