Brewed in collaboration with the amazing team at Bang The Elephant we present this classic, thick, oily Imperial Stout inspired by the flavours of a Sticky Toffee Pudding.

A blend of German and British speciality malt provides the classic biscuity profile of a stout, then jam packed full of dates, treacle and molasses which combine to remind you of the classic dessert, however we wouldn't recommend pouring any custard on top of this one...

On tap at Taphouse CPH, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is pure sticky toffee, diabetes-like sugars, and nary a trace of actual malts underneath. Flavour is very sticky and sweet, with toffee, sugars, and bready malt. Very little malt depth, just a lot of sugars. Not good.

330ml can. Jet black colour with late awakening, average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, brown head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty and slightly fruity aroma, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, molasses, treacle, a touch of date, fig, brown sugar. Taste is chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty and slightly fruity, minimally spicy, notes of cocoa, dry cocoa, dark chocolate, hints of date, fig, maple syrup, a touch of molasses, treacle, pan cake; slightly bitter hoppy counterpart.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, medium to fine, dense, creamy carbonation.
Rich and intense, sticky - nice sipper.

Black with a solid head. Chocolate malt aroma, same in the flavour along with some aniseed and a toasty malty quality. Rich, boozy, warming.
