From the polypin at the Orchard, Bristol 25/10/09. I was conufused as the board at the pub referred to this as being from Somerset - however, the producer’s website mentions it presses Somerset aplles in Hertfordshire. This was an enjoyable cider. Having drunk dry ciders immediately before, it initially seemed very sweet. However, once my palate adjusted to it, this was a good golden cider, with plenty of apple juice and a honeyed edge.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate apple, perfume - flowers, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate acidic with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090730]
