330ml expensive bottle at Cafe Sånn. Hazy orange coloured body. Some bubbles on the surface. Dry aroma of lemon acidity. Solid taste profile of brett, lemony and gooseberry tartness followed by a herbal dry, long-lived, ending. Nothing wrong, just not my kind of good beer drinking and a bad choice to my biff salad. (Meet-up with Ellen, Tromsø 31.03.2017).

(On tap @ CBC 2016 Blue Session) Pours a hazy gold with a white head and Aroma of tart green grape and white wine, rather Muscat-like as expected, gooseberry, orange peels and pith, pale sugary malt, subtle wood, light lemon, very bright concentrated fruity nose overall that’s on the tart side of sweet-tart. Flavour is tart and fruity overall but with a decent malt core as well. Dominated by white wine and grape notes with complementary gooseberry, citrusy flavours of tart orange and lemon, sugary sweetness, herbal notes, soft to moderate oak. Quite sour into the finish with lots of lingering fruity notes of gooseberry, grape and citrus. Tart, dry finish of white wine, subtle tannin, berry pucker. Average body and carbonation. This was lovely, great integration of barrel and fruit, proper balance despite the very sour edge.

330ml bottle from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy amber, thin foamy ring of head. Aroma is sweet muscat wine, light fruit. Taste is tart with a snappy tang. Nuances of sweet white wine are layered between soft gooseberry and apricot with a crackle of brett separating each element. Really quite a lovely sour.

Bottle from Bottle Baron in Edinburgh, consumed at home cooking Lamb and Chicken Souvlakis, Sunday 17th July 2016 Pours hazy gold amber, actually it is really murky, not too much of a head. Really zappy and fruity. This is tart and refreshing, not sure that I would necessarily known that there were goosegogs in here but now I do, their tart and tangy attributes clearly leave a distinctive mark on this beer. I an enjoying it. Dry finish. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.4
