Named after the year Peter Walker patented the Burton Union system, 1838 is brewed exclusively on this historic set at Thornbridge. Half cask at Sheffield Tap. Bright, clear golden pour, persistent creamy white head. Bready, biscuity aroma. Taste is bready malts, dries on the palate. Mild fruity notes throughout.
