We offer you a quality Christmas beer that you will enjoy, we are sure. Only Poperinge bubble hops are used. White candy sugar provides the extra density.
Brewing a day
What a nice name for a Christmas beer, by the way, even if we say so ourselves. And with a nice name comes an exclusive beer, from which you can expect a little more. A little more also means one of the highest wort densities: 22°PL.
Our traditional brewhouse can handle a large malt deposit. We brew one beer a day, boil it in a copper boiler over direct gas fire and cool it in the cooling tank, also made of copper.
Cooling in the Baudelot cooler
Cooling is done with a Baudelot cooler and fermentation takes place in open copper fermentation tanks. Maturation lasts at least one month and the beer undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle. The bottling date of this beer is indicated on the capsule.
