IPA - American. People! Friday Jr. is here! Thursdays just have that downhill momentum that make it so easy to skip the gym, save the laundry for Sunday, and start living the weekend dream early. Yep, it’s a little taste of Friday before that real weekend freedom sets in. Our pals at Resident Culture came through Phoenix last month to kickstart our weekend and we put our best hoppy thoughts together to make a particularly bright and juicy West Coast IPA! Hopped in the kettle with a thoughtful blend of Simcoe, Nectaron, Superdelic, Mosaic, and Simcoe 702 followed by a dry hop of more Superdelic, Nectaron, Luminosa, and Krush Cryo, Friday Jr. is all about layered complexity and juicy, balanced drinkability. Bursting with Strawberry, Bright Pink Winter Grapefruit, and Fresh Juniper Bushes, this one is guaranteed to get the weekend rolling!

Aromas are a blend of resin, sweat, citrus and malt. Flavors are similar to nose, well balanced between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Finish follows flavors. Nice beer.

Pint can pours with a crystal clear deep gold colored body that supports a white head of foam that leaves behind spotty lacing. The modest aroma offers up grapefruit, lemon, lime and some white wine grapes followed by a bit of cantaloupe nuanced maltiness. The taste delivers a blend of lime, grapefruit, cantaloupe and malts. Interesting mixture here that's feels a little disjointed. To midway it picks up a some orange marmalade hop flavor and a bit more malt sweetness to create a bit more balance. This does have a nice level of hop bitterness but this doesn't come into flavor harmony. This is still better than most haysys.
