Georgia Candy Roasters are a fascinating and delicious heirloom squash variety known for their massive size and uniquely sweet, nutty flavor. We roasted 400 lbs. of locally grown Candy Roasters over hot coals and incorporated them into a characterful mash. Fermented with our mixed culture, the beer was later conditioned on vanilla beans and wood spirals (sugar maple and amburana). Finally, we finished Georgia Candy by resting it in chicory liquor and maple syrup barrels.
