330ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark sulphureous to beige head. Sweet-ish, slightly nutty and chocolately, dark and caramel malty aroma, hints of nougat, hazelnut, Brazil nut, some caramel, minimally piney and herbal hoppy overtones with a touch of reed, whiffs of seawater. Taste is slightly herbal and piney hoppy and sweet-ish, minimally nutty, dark and caramel malty, hints of nougat, some caramel, a touch of pine needles, herbal liqueur, reed, seawater.
Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice nutty flavours and somehow "maritime" herbal flavours - not bad.
