Bottle split between 77ships and myself. Pours red / amber. No head. Smell is funky, dry, wood, some berries. Taste is dry, funky, mushroom-like ’old’ notes, oak, dry fruityness. Some sourness. Although quite drinkable and fitting the beer, this did seem a bit off in the lines of ageing problems. Wet oak, even some mild cardboard in a fresh released lambic beer, is really stange to get... Perhaps one of the barrels didn’t do so well ???

Update Bottle - Red fruit and green pepper. Deep reddish with no head. Reddish fruit with a little green pepper. Much like the first batch, but I am enjoying it more. Bottle - Wine gum red fruit, green pepper funk. Cloudy reddish with no head. Green pepper and light red berry. This is not quite there yet.
