This pure-bred blonde beer is a thrill to the senses. It has a clean, sharp, fresh, fruity, organic hop taste with a hint of citrus.

On gravity at the Hillgrove Porter Stores, Bristol 13/9/08. Deep gold with a slight white head. Sweet malt aroma, with some apricots, hay and a touch of grassy hop. Flavour was sweet, with plenty of caramel and a short, dry finish. Drinkable.

Cask handpull at The 78, Glasgow. Gold, lasting white head. Really bubble gummy, odd passionfruit flavour. Decent faint hop. Fine, well made, just not great flavours.

Bottle, thanx to Maria. We found it in her lovely beer-cellar, and it was past it’s BB-date, and she had already had it, so she gave it for us to take back to Norway. Clear, golden ale with a nice, dense, lasting off-white head. Lightly citrusy nose with some cellar. As it was past BB-date, the cellar in aroma and flavor is ignored when rating it. The flavor is quite fruit dominated, with malt and bitterness to fill in. The mouthfeel is a bit soapy. Decent body. A quite quaffable beer. (070527)

Bottle. An orange beer with a slight hazy underneath a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes fo oranges, and so is the flavor.
