An unusual lager grist including Rye and wheat in addition to pils malt from the always quality Epiphany Craft Malt. Hopped amply with German Saphir.

Open fermented with a Swiss lager strain (without temperature control) during a particularly cold week in March, we will likely only be able to produce beers like this in the fall/winter time, making it all the more special.

After secondary conditioning in stainless, this was packaged off and naturally conditioned in kegs. This provides extremely tight foam and soft but lively carbonation.

We taste a delightfully crisp minerality, along with freshly baked bread and lemony-herbal hop character. The unfiltered presentation gives this 4.2% session lager an added depth of flavor and body.
