Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Missed this one during my visit to the brewery a while back. Glad it made it's way over here. Midnight pour with a ton of thick tan foam head. Toasty, metallic, chocolate forward aroma. Flavor is really the seller in this. Delicious stout full of roasted malt, coffee roast, semi sweet caramel and cream, and milk chocolate. A dessert beer, without being too sweet. A morning time beer, id say, with all the coffee and chocolate that come through. A flavorful dry stout here. Very impressed with this.

On tap at Port Townsend, pours a deep dark mahogany with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out notes of chocolate, cocoa nibs and a little roast. Flavour is very light for a 6.6% stout, with notes of roast and cocoa. Smooth and creamy on the palate. Very drinkable but not overly thrilling. Decent stout.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours black with a 4 finger tan head. Nice burnt/toast malt aroma. Maybe some hop bitter? Full bodied with very foamy carbonation. Smooth. Flavor is very dark chocolate with burnt malt for bitter. Hop? Maybe. It’s just very, very flavorful. Finish is towards dry with chocolate notes. Delicious.

Bottle Pours a Jet Black with a tan creamy head and sticky lacing. Aroma is of dark pitted fruit, prunes plums molassas and smokey. Flavor is smokey and sour. Like vinegar. Don’t really notice the chocolate mentioned in previous ratings, but the coffee is there and some of the dark pitted fruit again. The body and feel is a bit thin and I was hoping for a bit more here.
