On tap at HopCat, Grand Rapids. Fiery orange-red body, thin ring of off-white carbonation. Tart, sour nose, fruity and woody, tannic, with vinaigrette notes. Tart, funky, tannic body with peach and wood, finishing wheaty with some biscuit notes. Very good.

On tap at The Livery 5th anniversary party. Poured a near clear deep amber w a peach hue and a white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma had a nice sour peach note with a hint of alcohol and oak/leather. Flavor began with sweet peach than grew slowly to a tart/sour peach finish with a hint of oak and leather in the finish.

Bottle, 75cl, at RBNAG -09. A next to clear, orangey golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma is intensely sourish and warming in a very nice way. Peaches and white sugar also springs to mind. Dry, acidic flavor with hints of farmhouse, some peaches and even more acid. Medium to full body, warming and pleasantly carbonated. The alochol lasts for a good while, but in a really pleasant way. A really lovely sour ale that I would love to have available at all times. 091107

Bottle @ RBESG Grand tasting 2009. Hazy golden color, with a medium white head. Lovely peachy aroma, and a very nice sourish peachy taste. Quite enjoyable even for someone that isn’t a big fan of sours. Very tasty.

750 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Dim reddish orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma is fruity and acidic with a Bret profile. Flavor is fruity aromatic, quite mild Bret impression, very refreshing with a funky, dry finish and well hidden alcohol. This is simply good, interesting and fun in a bottle.

Bottle, ABV 14%, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Ale fermented with peaches in oak cask. Deep golden colour, low head. Intense aroma of oak, lemons, cider apples and peaches. Very sour flavour, notes of brettanomyces, sour apples more than peaches.
