Bottle at Chriso pre GBBF tasting 09. Black, very dark brown colour. Really good impy stout, bit grainy, but not overly boozy, I really quite like it. Malty rather than grainy. Cool

Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Thin coffee and barley coffee aroma. Correct body, some residual sweetness; the coffee flavor (mild) is joined by a very light sourness. At the end there is some evident alcohol warmth. Atypical, but not extreme, not bad.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an opaque dark brown - almost black - with a vague reddish hue and a creamy light brown head leaving laces. Sweetish aroma of vanilla and hard roasted malt. Medium body, hard roasted malt, plenty of sweetish dried fruit and vanilla. Subdued malt bitterness. 120609
