On tap @ Ghetto Something. Aroma of roasted malt, bitter chocolate and maple syrup with earthy note. Pours pitch black color with thick creamy light brown head. Tastes of rich roasted malt, chocolate, liquor and maple syrup, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Lord of the Ringus…

Thanks omhper! Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted cold coffee with some toffee, maple syrupy and mild earth. Flavour is coffee, liquorice, chocolate syrupy tones with mild alcohol and some espresso burnt tones. Somewhat alcoholic kick too in the flavour. Still a nice one.

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Black with a small tan head. Sweet with dark malt, maple syrup, soy sauce and butterscotch. Warming alcohol in the finish. Drinkable but not the best one from Ringu Brewing.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Black, faint fizzy head. Butterscotch dominates the nose. Sweet with medium to full body and fizzy, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Lots of butterscotch, some syrup and soy sauce. Peppery warming finish with some bitterness. Is this intended? If so, why?
