In collaboration with our good friends at NZHops and MacHops, we decided to iterate on the increasingly popular 'Italian-style Pilsner' and showcase Wakatu and experimental NZH-106 hops. With hop breeding lineage that includes Hallertau and Saaz open pollinated with NZ male plants, these cultivars were an easy choice for the style. This New Zealand-style Pils boasts notes of pineapple, zesty citrus, and floral white grapes atop a clean pilsner malt foundation.
