*Old rating. Best before 6.9.2011. The beer is for a "Leichtes Weißbier" nice full-bodied. Fresh with hints of banana and clove. Nice aftertaste with hints of water, but round and refreshing.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden with an orangey sheen, small off-white head, lazy carbonation, light tart wheaty nose with a touch of vegetables; light sourish-tart flavour with a certain sweetness, light bodied; some cloves mixed with mineral water in the tart and wheaty finish. Bottle 50cl. w. swing top @ Brauerei Rittmayer Hallerndorf - Keller, An der Mark 1, Hallerndorf, Oberfranken/Bayern, 91352 Germany.Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, wheat, light to moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090523]

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana and spices. The flavor is sweet wheaty which also lends it a slight acidity, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is thin - no wonder.

Bottled at Rittmayer-Keller, Kreuzberg. Cloudy pale orange, small head. Apply vegetable aroma. Light bodied with some banana and inky metal. Too diluted and fruity. Quite failed leichtes weizen.
