Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Spicy malty aroma. Starts strong, mild malty, spicy, more and more alcoholic-spicy. Light caramel hints. Finish could be a bit more balanced. Not bad.

Schnapp-Fläschle (Dank am See!): Golden, almost clear, visible carbonation, small but creamy and stable off-white head, moderate sweetish-grainy nose with “metallic” hops underneath , very shy honeyish-malty traces (somewhere ?); moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, not soft; lingering honeyish-malty finish with a mild boozy touch and returning metallic traces. Sigh...

bottle from Heinrichs 3000. Deep golden colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty, slightly chocolatey with some dried fruits, raisins, more yeasty fruity hints, maybe banana. Lingering earthy-hoppy finish.

Vielen Dank an kevnic2008! Fast klare goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, monoton. Geschmack leicht getreidig malzig, trocken, leicht würzig, kaum hopig.

* Old rating, 0,5l swing-top-bottle, best before 2.2004. Malzig-muffig-komisches Bier.

Langer trocken-bitterer Abgang. Was soll das für ein Bock sein? Merkwürdiges Gebräu... 5/7/8/6/6/6

Bottle from Rewe, Wieslock
Golden to copper color, bright. It has a light aroma of cereals, and very light honey; the body is a bit round and maybe sweet but not too strong; there is an evident flavor of cereals and wet cereals; correct bitterness. Too simple.
