Aldred est une blonde opalescente dont les fines bulles laissent échapper des effluves agréables de zeste de citron et d’herbes fraîches, prémisse d’un bonheur qui se fait attendre. Bottle. Pours hazy, pale yellow, with an enormous, creamy head. Aroma is tart wooden yeast, with pepper, hay, grass, floral notes and minerals, as well as malts with toffee. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart yeasty notes, with hay and herbal hops, with citrus and floral notes.

600 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Very pale yellow colour, large white head. Pleasant and distinct aroma of spicy / peppery saison yeast. The medium dry flavour has also plenty of peppery saison yeast and bittering hops, but little body to support it. Nice to drink though.
