Tap at CBC ’16. Very hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of light malt and grain. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and straw. Crisp hoppy, dry bitter and straw. Crisp hoppy and grassy far finish.

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy light orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of herbs, grass, wet hay and citrus. Malty flavour with more wet hay, grains, pale malt and some citrus. Some astringency. Has a slick and light mouth feel, light body and a light to bitterness. A little one dimensional and malty beer. Okay kellerbier.

Big fizzy longlasting head. Aroma is weeds, hay, yeast, flowers, light malts, sap, dried grain, young birchwood. Taste is slightly dry, weeds, light malts, sap, bark, hay, flowers, dried grain. Medium bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Meh!

On tap @ Crowbar. This is a near-clear golden one. It has a small just off-white head. It feels low on the aroma, but there are traced of some grains, thin caramel not much more really. The taste is light buttery with some sweet corn, a soft fruity tone and some hay. It's soft oily in the mouthfeel and about average on the carbonation. All in all a fair but forgettable pilsner. 01.03.2013
