Tap, 100ml served from a sample tray at the restaurant Smaken av Sundbytunet. Unclear, golden-straw coloured body. Tiny, white head, good amount of lacing to the glass. Fine and mild aroma of oily fruits. Flavoured with herbal hops and bittersweet fruits. Oily bitter ending. Dry and soft in the mouth. A moreish pilsener (Jessheim, 08.05.2012).

On tap @ the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden body with a small white head. Aroma is mild grainy with hint of grassy hops. Flavor is sweet, light malty with a well pronounced grassy bitterness with hint of fruit, feels soft in the mouth. Aftertaste has some pleasant bitterness and gives a crisp feeling. Decent pilsner.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours with a little hazyness. Golden in color and with a dense, finger-thick white head. The aroma has the hops uo front, quite grassy, and with pale malts in the back. Soft on the carbonation, medium to full body. Quite bitter, at least compared to other Norwegian pilsners. Some fruityness, and a firm malty body. Lightly bitter finish with some fruityness and malts. Certainly a fine and easy drinkable one. Dry and quenching. 120505

Rerate 500 ml shared swingtop bottle, at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Golden colour, large white head. Standard pilsener aroma, not unpleasant, some floral and herbal notes, hints of hay and honey. The flavour is better than last time, a bit sweet, but has also distinct bittering hops throughout. I’m upping it a couple points. Original rating: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar (remaining keg from Øl- og Akevittmessen), Stavanger. Golden colour, moderate white head. Some sweetish malts and hay in the aroma, also hints of damp basement. The flavour seems slightly "unfresh", but with tolerable hops in the finish. Hints of honey. Clearly drinkable, but not exciting.

Big creamy offwhite head. Hazy deep yellow body. Strange, faint mealy earthy aroma with fruity pea notes. Dry-sweetish earthy fruity peas taste with mealy resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish fruity mealy aftertaste with resiny grassy spicy notes. Nice and highly drinkable. Balanced and harmonic. (0.25l draft at brewpub.)
