Draught (Hanging Bat, Edinburgh) - Hazy amber in colour. Caramel, grapefruit and dired malt in the aroma. Fruity, hoppy and metallic taste with notes of caramel, sultanas and pine.

Dark amber, bit hazy, quite dense off white head
Aroma of soft fruits, caramel malts, honey, dab of orange
Taste - Lots of honey, rich honey caramel malts, slight scorched sugar notes, good flavoured rich sweet malts...this is a malty beer
Palate - Medium body, good body for the abv, smooth texture. Sweet palate. Finish as main flavour, long rich malt linger
Overall - Yes, another good one from Merkinch. Wasn’t getting the yeast as mentioned below.....

Bottle 50cl. @ [ Tasting by cgarvieuk ].Clear medium amber copper color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, sour acidic spicy notes, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090412]

Bottle at home ... with Jan and charlotte ... more copper ... musty toffee little honey in nose ... over sweet toffee and honey ... little malt extract.
