Cask-conditioned at Blackfriars, Glasgow 5/06/2011. Golden in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of cereal malts with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour had a touch of citrus, sweetish malts and bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at Southampton Arms, London. A hazy golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and light notes of hops, leading to a bitter finish. I find it somewhat boring.

Cask@The Southampton Arms, London. Slightly hazy golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, spices, herbs as well as some wooden notes. A quite pleasant aroma. Flavour would be quite much the same with some mild earthyness.

From cask at Southampton Arms. Pours cloudy orange with a fully gone head. Aroma is vague butterish and mild citrusy hops. Mild malty, slight fruity and vague citric hops flavoured. Lingering fruity into the finish.

Honey and pine nose. Clear amber, thin head, good lacing. Watery mouthfeel. Some malt, some unmalted grain flavor. Lemon zest finish. Easy to drink, but disjointed. Tastes like a decent beer that has been watered down.
