Aass Fatøl is a straw yellow colored beer with an aroma of grain, malt and hops. The beer has a fresh taste with a low sweetness and balanced bitterness. This beer is brewed according to the German Purity Law. The product name "Fatøl" is the Norwegian word for draft beer. The product was once developed to imitate how pilsner tasted as freshly served.

Can @ Scooper Tasting in Ulfborg. Pours clear pale yellow, with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with faint notes of hops. Sourosh flavour of grain, with a good deal of yeast and sparse hoppy notes. Acetic finish. Nothing to write home about, to put it very mildly.

50cl can from Meny. Pours clear pale golden with a fluffy white head. The usual pale lager aroma; grain and malt, cooked vegetables and hint of metal and hops. Sweet and grainy with some bitterness in the finish. Needs to be well chilled to be drinkable. This was not cold enough and it is barely drinkable even though the weather is nice. Standard industrial pale ale.
