Keg at West Brewery. Murky amber body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Light lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, clove and banana. Flavour of marzipan, yeast and soft citrus fruits. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light carbonation. The best West beer I’ve tried - flavoursome and distinctive.

Draught @ West Brewing Company Brewpub, 1 The Green, Glasgow G40 1DA, Scotland.Unclear hazy medium to dark orange color with a small, frothy - virtually none, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat. [20090410]
