Golden colour. Aroma is quite floral and earthy. Flavour has a light hop dryness.

Many thanks to Sean for this bottle. The beer starts fresh and smooth. Nice typical Ale-aroma with hints of grain. Fresh, smooth and nice dry. Refreshing grainy dry bitter ale! Nice.

Sampled @ Finest Spirits and Beer Convention Bochum 2014: Dunkel goldgelbes Bier mti ordentlicher weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht hopfig, malzig, blumig. Geschmack fruchitg, malzig, hopfig, blumig.

Bitterer, leicht fruchtiger Antrunk. Hopfig, trocken herb, die Bitterkeit wird stärker. Trotz der 4.2% vollmundig, gelungen. 9/10/9/9//9

On cask at JDW, Galashiels - Clear amber body with a thin white head. Faint aroma of red berries and straw. Flavour of sweet berries and grain. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. Not too bad.

Cask as "Homecoming Scotland". Clear golden with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel and hop. Flavour is malt, fruit, hop, caramel, little sweet, little bitter and a little thin.

Boutielle 33cl @ Il Prestesto, Bologna, grazie Giorgio. Dorée, col blanc léger. Arôme est très anglais avec un petit rétro vanillé fort appréciable, venant de la levure? le reste demeure dans ce style typiquement anglais noble. Palais est léger, amer dans un style anglais ainsi que pour les malts. Le tout est léger et efficace sans vraiment changer le style. En terme de houblons et d’amertume, on reste dans du Golding et autres tendances nobles anglaises.
