Cask (handpump) @ Cask and Barrel, 115 Broughton Street, Edinburgh EH1 3RZ, Scotland.Clear medium to dark orange color with a average, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, toasted, caramel and toffe notes, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, and a alcohol burn on the lips. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20090409]

Cask, Bodega, Newcastle. A golden affair with a thin pallid head. Sweet malt aroma with some fruitiness. A hint of spice in the flavour which was again on the sweet side. Medium bitter finish. Rather unrefined and simple. Glaggable.

Cask at the Bow bar??, Edinburgh, 20-03-09 on Craig’s crawl of Edinburgh’s finest establishments. Pours warm gold with a white head, there’s no denying this is a good looker. Alcohol tends to show a little too much and there is also some syrupy sweetness which is just a bit heavy handed that aside its a actually a very nice beer. There is a pleasant lingering aftertaste with asurprising amount of dryness, its not bad but promised to be so much more A6 A5 F7 P3 OV13 3.4

(Cask at Gallows Bird, Espoo, on 2009-01-23) Golden. Clear. Very light toffee aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate. Bitterness, hops, toffee, bit of sweetness and grass in taste. Bitterness and toffee in aftertaste.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Golden colour, foamy white head. Particular aroma of earthy, muddy smells, fruity. Flavour has some decent malts and spices. Nice one.

Cask, 6% at GBBF08. Weak fruity aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is quite peppery. OK body, but not much malt flavour to balance the alcohol. Rough alcohol finish.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 7 Aug 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of earthy, citrussy hops and hints of honey. Malty taste with initial citrus notes, leading to a solid, slightly sweet and malty middle and leaving with earthy hops in a bittersweet finish. Medium to full body, slightly heavy mouthfeel. Nice one.

Cask conditioned gravity, White Cliffs BF 08. Gold/copper colour, thin beige head. Several people had this over the 2 days and said it was good. Some fruit. Quite a decent flinty type of beer. Then it was back to the Moor JJJ IPA!!!!

Edinburgh Beer festival 2007 ... Dark amber ... Little fruit in nose ... generous fruityness ... little sweet ... touch orangy ... Good session beer then you realsise its 6%.3.8 TK 2 SRAF 2010 ... ambrer ... white headc ... sweet rich orange hop nose ..deep silky mouthfeel ... resiny hop ... some orange .. some pine .. some lime peel .. rich and wonderful 4.2
