The cold of the forest night can cut to the bone. What’s that in the distance? A wolf’s howl? Sounds like an entire pack. The only
escape now is that cottage we passed hours back…
Come inside for a warming, malty treat layered with notes of fresh baked whole grain bread studded with sugared nuts, caramel candies, and an oh-so-delicate whiff of Spring
meadows. A pint of this strong, dark lager is surely enough to keep the wolves from the door… isn’t it?

Draught at source: pours mahogany with a whitish head. Aroma is dark fruit and some leather. Taste is sweetish, slightly hoppy bite. Raisiny aftertaste. Pretty good.
