(On tap at Bryden’s, Oct 4, 2014) Pours a beautiful clear pink-red with a moderate pale pinkish white head and lace. Aroma has lots of red cherry, a little sour/tart edge and montmorency character but some sweetish notes too, and a dusty yeast character from the base grisette is just detectable. Palate cherry forward too of course, dry overall with both a light sweet note and light sour note at the start/middle, like lightly sweetened sour cherry pastry filling. From the middle on, it picks up a mineral sparkling water character that I remember from the underlying Hissy Fit along with a less sweet cherry flesh. Lightish body, with soft tingly carb. Not really a sweet or sour cherry beer but the dryness prevents it from being cloying either. Fruit driven but not juicy, with a mineral grisette body. Refreshing.
