With heaps of flaked oats to crystal, chocolate and kilned coffee malts, this little stout packs a big punch of nutty, creamy, and roasty and toasty flavors and aromas. On tap at Living Haus, pours a clear pale brown with a small beige head. Aroma has soft oats and toasted bready malt - very thin for an oatmeal stout. Flavour is dry, bringing out clean, hearty oats, toasted bread, and a hint of roast. Lighter and more watery than I want in an oatmeal stout but reasonably structured.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear dark brown with a large creamy/foamy tan head. Aroma of dark roasty malt with a chocolate note. Med body. Flavor is the aroma with some oat and a very light note of smoke or similar. Strange. Malty but towards dry. Moderately bitter. Very, very tasty.
