Das Sternquell Weihnachtsbier, von unseren Braumeistern selbst kreiert und für nur wenige Wochen des Jahres eingebraut, ist ein Bier für wahre Feinschmecker. Das vollmundige, edle Festbier ist etwas dunkler in der Farbe und entwickelt eine dezente Hopfennote sowie ein besonders feines Malzaroma.

Big offwhite shiny head. Deep coppery brown body. Minty linoleum aroma with floral malty notes. Dry-sweetish earthy minty papery taste with metallic floral notes. Mild, smooth mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish earthy milky caramelly aftertaste with minty floral notes. Extremely drinkable and very nice. (0.5l bottle, getränkemarkt, Leipzig.)

19/03 0.5 l bottle from Bier-Spezialitäten-Laden, Berlin. It poured copper body with small head. Weak roasted malt aroma. Flavor is also weak, but with fine base. Malty caramel, roasted sugar, coffee and slightly metallic. Thin bodied with short bittersweet finish. Very simple, not bad, but they should have made something tastier for Winter seasonal.

Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, very weak dusty nose. Also weak malty, mild nutty and caramel with notes of metal near the end. Quite weak overall, below average beer.

Bottle, Bier-Spezialitäten-Laden. Dark gold-amber body, small white head. Light sweet malty nose, slightly fruity. Light taste, dust, salt, sticky maltiness in the background. Ok really but too light.

bottle, kindly delivered by MoritzF! Danke! Clear deep amber-brown colour with a mid-sized off-white head. Nutty-spicy nose. Malty background with vanilla, honey, nuts and spices, with some aromatic hops in ther lingering caramelly finish.

Bottle. It pours a clear golden body under a diminishing, finger-thick white head. malty-sweet nose with fruits, caramel notes, some dried fruits and alcohol. Sweet, caramel flavor with fruits. Medium to full body, slightly warming. Sweet finish with some alcohol. Rather boring, sure drinkable, and definately not my idea of a christmas beer. 090720
