The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass not really. Not much foam, not very zippy. Tastes very sourish, somehow like soap. I miss the maltyness of a good dark bock. Not a good beer! Big thanks to quack-duck for the bottle!

Bottle (Dank an Stefan !): Clear, deep golden to light amber coloured, slowly diminishing white head; toasted malt and straw in the aroma; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; nutty aromas in the robust sweet-bitter finish. A good one........

(33cl bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Almost clear, dark amber colour with a short creamy white layer. Sweet toast-malty and nutty aroma with subtle fruity accents. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty and nutty taste; almost dry, moderately sweet and slightly bitter and toasty finish with a noticeable but non-disturbing alcohol (18.08.08).
