Hazelnut, Honeycomb & Chocolate Milk Stout.
Our favourite milk stout, revisited and experimented with. Expect a backbone of caramel & roasted malt with a honeycomb crackle all the way through.
Layered with sweet praline nuttiness and aromatic top notes from a cold-condition on nibs of organic Peruvian criollo cacao.
Nutty, sweet & silky.
Contains lactose.

Thanks fonefan! Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted, some mild nutty tones with lactose and chocolate to it. Flavour is chocolate, some lactose, mild nutty tones with chocolate and mild fudgelike tones. Smooth one.

sweet bitter chocolate toffee aroma, coffee, bitter dark caramel, dark chocolate, sugar. not my cup of tea. notes of vanilla and honey. doesn't really blend well together and hardly any roasted malts noticeable, just adjuncts.
flavor is better, some booze, some vanilla, some bitterness that seems to be herbal hops, cofee, roasted malts - texture is watery, the herbal bitterness is almost plastic like. A milk stout very far away from reinheitsgebot, in fact so far that the roasted malty notes play third fiddle at most.
the ABV is also not very high, that might have saved the beer, it might have worked as a very boozy something. For a milk stout, this is way under par.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Near black, small head. Aroma of chocolate milk. Artifcially sweet with medium body and clean hard mouthfeel. Chocolate milk with some hazelnut extract and unpleasant artificial sweetener. Metallic finish.
