Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: black in the pour and in the glass with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which slid off very nicely and left some lace
Aroma: roasted malts, coffee notes, woody, toasty, dark chocolate, subtle earthy whiffs
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together fairly roasty and toasty, finishes with the dark roastiness and dark chocolate
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, some smoothness but also a roasty grip on the tongue
Overall: pretty nicely done American stout I'd have again.
