0.5 l bottle thanks to Ogi who brought it from Leipzig, shared with prof. Prezbelewsky and him. Unclear amber, small off-white head. Aroma is light caramel and toffee. Moderately hoppy, moderately malty, lightly spicy, alcohol hidden. Quite sweet, medium body, soft carbonation, a bit sugary, finishes too sweet.

Bottle from a shop in Leipzig. Filtered dark brown, moderate head. Nose is lightly nutty, malty, earthy hops. Pretty sweet flavor, lots of malt and brown sugar. Crystal cara. Would need a bit more bitterness to balance it.

Auburn with a frothy head that proves fleeting. Not much of an aroma on this one, a bit dank, brown sugar, some cardboard. Taste is mildly sweet. The hint of genuine brown sugar that lingers on the tongue afterwards is the highlight of an otherwise modest experience.

"Freiberger Bockbier", Flasche von Edeka, Berlin. - Tiefes Kupferrotbraun, klar.

Next 0,5 l bottle from my own short trip to the Erzgebirge. Dark copper in the glass, one finger pale beige frothy head. Smells malty. Not a lot. Taste also malty, brown sugar sweetness in the background. Less alcoholic than expected but increasing to the end. Okayyyy ...

Cleanly brewed, has a decent malt caramelly background. A great crisp malty dry beer, hard to do, but done right. Freiberberger dresden
