Namensvetter dieses Bieres ist der bekannteste Sohn der Stadt Kronach: "Lucas Maler", der sich später in Bezug auf seine Heimat Cranach nannte. Lucas Cranach der Ältere wurde am 4. Oktober 1472 in Kronach geboren und war einer der bedeutendsten deutschen Maler der Renaissance. In der Nationalgalerie auf der Festung Rosenberg sind einige der bedeutendsten Werke von Lucas Cranach ausgestellt. So einzigartig wie diese Werke ist auch unser "Lucas Cranach " Lagerbier, das durch seine bernsteinerne Farbe nicht nur das Auge erfreut.

Helder amberkleurig bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is lichtbitterzoet met iets van karamel en wat hooi en noten. Heeft een vrij waterig mondgevoel.
