Bottle. Amber colour. Moderarte honey aroma. Some spicey notes. Moderate bitter very spicey flavor. Not that sweet. Long nice warm finish. Slightly alcoholic. Creamy palate. Nice mead.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear red without head. Aroma is sweet, honey and caramel. Flavor is very sweet. Very sweet finish with heavy alcohol. 300312

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Dark amber almost brown, with no head. Honey, nuts and caramel. Very sweet and thick, burnign alcohol finish.

Pours clear dark brown with no head. Aroma has notes of honey and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet. Body is full, texture is sticky, carbonation is flat.

Amber with no head. Aroma of fruit, herbs and hot alcohol. Sweet herbal and fruity flavour with a bit of dark caramel. Too sweet and too alcoholic.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours cloudy amber with bubbles on top. Sweet. Vague alcohol. Nuts, caramel, honey and vague syrup. Tasty ish! Warmth. . .

cloudy brown, no head. nutty, caramelly aroma. quite atypical of the meads i’ve tasted so far.also some spices. flavor is pretty strong spicy, faint honey, faint citrussy note. Also some bitter caramel, and some sweet caramel.

Bottle 25cl. @ home.[ Courtesy of Papsoe ]. Clear medium amber color with virtually none head. Aroma is sweet and spicy, honey, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish is moderate alcoholic. [20090501]
